Human BEings of Yoga Nundah - Meet Chris
Chris, a former pediatric and maternity nurse, has been practicing many different forms of yoga for over 20 years. She says that regular practice is important to keep her active and mobile. These days Chris prefers the long held yet gentle stretching of a Yin style class. Yin Yoga is a wonderful addition to the regular walking and gardening that Chris does. To relax her mind and body, she meditates two to three times per week where she will simply sit and be present in the moment for up to ten minutes. Chris loves the silence.
Leaving her home of Oxford, England, with her husband in 1975, Chris has gone on to build a wonderful life in Australia and her regular self care helps her to keep up with 14 grandchildren!
